Devlog pt.3 - Dream game

Hello everyone, another week, another weblog.  What have I done last week? Well, not exactly much. I revamped the battle system, that is not much to show and added events, so now you can add more than just food. Added xp, so now xp is added for each battle or event. I did a less than expected, but there are other factors that I cannot influence, so it is ok.

And now it’s time for “Tea time with Arvis”, and this time we will look at how to build your dream game. Every one who wants to get into gamedev, have their dream game, be it call of Duty or Super mario. What is my dream game? Probably something from the Elder scrolls series, I lost count how many hours I lost to Morrowind. But people always suggest to start small and open world RPGs are anything but small. And I hate pong, so what can be done in such a situation? I guess the only option is move one step at a time and create a game with one core loop of open world RPG. Crafting game, Exploration game, game with intense combat etc. My current game, even though it is fairly small, features lots of RPG elements- leveling, combat and even can be compared to earlier RPGs like Ultima 3. I just need to work on my craft and release, that is the biggest problem currently. Need to release and become better, I guess it could become my motto.
